The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has asked mass media professionals to support the church in dealing with national ills.
The revered holiness preacher, who noted that the church and the mass media were connected, said while the media existed as a catalyst for social change, the church sought spiritual re-awakening of people “trapped in the miry clay of sin.”
Kumuyi spoke in Lagos on Tuesday at a breakfast fellowship with media executives.
He said, “The Great Commission is the sacred mandate by the Saviour to all believers to go into the world with the glorious gospel, which has the capacity to draw men out of the fetters of sin and darkness into God’s marvellous light.
