An aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, for the Abeokuta South 1 State Constituency, Dr. Ololade Kehinde, says 60 of his friends contributed money which he used to buy the nomination and expression of interest forms.

He said the forms cost N950,000.

He disclosed this to journalists on Tuesday in Abeokuta while declaring his ambition at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State council secretariat.

He said he preferred direct primaries for all elective positions, arguing that the method was a one-stop solution to impunity, imperialism, and political dictatorship.

While condemning the consensus model of primary, the nuclear medicine physician, equated it to thwarting of the wish of the people by a few powerful people.
