Assembly Election 2023: Speaker, Majority Leader lose seats to PDP in Plateau

The Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Yakubu Sanda, and the Majority Leader, Daniel Nanlong, both of the All Progressives Congress have lost their seats to Peoples Democratic Party candidates. Sanda, who represents Pengana State Constituency, was defeated by Happiness Akawu of the PDP in the House of Assembly election held on March 18. Read More
