Adams Oshiomhole, the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and other elected party officials are “overburdened by heavy corruption allegations”, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said.
The party also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of trading Oshiomhole’s expected investigation and prosecution for corruption, for his presidential ticket.
PDP said all these, and more, in a statement by Kola Ologbondiyan, its National Publicity Secretary, to appraise the ongoing APC National Convention.
“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) berates the national convention of the dysfunctional All Progressives Congress (APC) as a charade, a mockery of democracy and assault on the sensibility of Nigerians,” read the statement.
