Ibrahim Bilal, Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, has announced the resolution of the party to adopt Jibirilla Bindow, Governor of the state, as candidate for the state’s governorship election in 2019.
Accordingly, Bilal mocked all others aspiring to challenge the Governor’s seat, describing them as mere jesters.
The Chairman blatantly dropped the bombshell Saturday afternoon at the party’s secretariat barely five days after he assured Buhari’s In-law, Mahmood Halilu Ahmed, better known as Modi, of a level playing field.
Modi was at the APC state secretariat on Monday to formally declare his governorship aspiration, and was assured by Bilal that the party was positively disposed to picking its candidate through a credible primary process.
