Aminat Sunday, one of the migrants airlifted from Libya to Nigeria on Friday, has declared Nigeria better than North African country.
Narrating how she worked as a maid during her stay in Libya, she said she was lured to the country by family burdens and persuasion by her trafficker.
According to NAN, the 29-year-old lady, an indigene of Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, expressed regrets that she went on the trip.
She also stated that she paid her trafficker with her full-year wage after arriving in Libya.
Her words: “I was working as a housemaid cleaning tiles, but the work made me to come back home because it is very stressful, tiring and serious health problems for me.
“To be sincere, Nigeria is far better than Libya. I have learned my lessons in the wrong way, but thank God I am still alive.”
