Jamie Vardy could have a major role in the development of Leicester City’s promising young strikers.
The 31-year-old is City’s main striker but he should also be an example and a role-model to City forwards like Demarai Gray, Kelechi Iheanacho, James Maddison and Fousseni Diabate.
Former City striker Emile Heskey says he was given huge support when he first emerged into the City first team from the academy by senior professionals like Tony Cottee and believes Vardy could also be invaluable in the development of his young team-mates.
