Dr Umar Duhu is the pioneer North East National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In this interview with SUNDAY ISUWA, he explains why he is vying for the same office in tommorow’s national convention of the party, among other issues.
The APC National Convention is by the corner, are you going to contest any position at the convention?
Yes, I said earlier that I was not going to contest, but politics is dynamic. The permutation has now changed and I will contest for the office of the National Vice Chairman North East of the APC, the position I was the pioneer occupant. I never wanted to contest any position at the forthcoming APC National Convention but this change arose from the fact that my good friends and close associates spread across the length and breath of Nigeria encouraged me to have a shot at any position Zoned to the North Eastern part of Nigeria.
