As attacks continue unabated in Zamfara State, a gang of armed bandits have struck again unleashing terror on some communities in Maradun local government area killing 30 persons, while another seven are missing. A source, one Bawa Abdullahi said the villages ransacked were Sakkida, Gyadde, Sabon Gari, Farin Zare and Orawa. Abdullahi gave the breakdown of the killings in the affected villages as Sakkida 7, Gyadde 4, Farin Zare 8, Sabon Gari 4 and Orawa 8. According to him, the bandits opened fire indiscrimantely on the village and rustled cattle and other domestic animals.
The police Public Relations Officer, SP Mohammed Shehu confirmed that bandits attacked Sikida/Gyaddau villages of Maradun local government area.
