CarXie Supports FG’s Policy On Ban Of Cars Made Before 2008 — Leadership Newspaper

CarXie, a Nigerian mobile app cab hailing company, has barred cars manufactured before 2008 from its fleet ahead of its formal launch this weekend in line with the federal government decision recently.

Chairman of CarXie, Mr. Chinedu Amadi, disclosed this during a pre-launch meeting with cab owners and drivers at its Ajah, Lagos yesterday to demonstrate the workings of the mobile app. 

He explained that it was necessary for CarXie and its cab operators to bond ahead of the launch to ensure a smooth kickstart come July 27.

The chairman stated that CarXie is a bold statement that Nigerians are capable of conceptualising sustainable innovations, adding CarXie standards must be part of acceptable global standards.

“There would be no compromise on the quest to achieve comfort, safety, and save time for the rider at affordable costs. The cab owners and drivers play a central role in this project.
