On Tuesday 11th August, 2018, Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of Bauchi State was at the residence of the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomole, as he puts it, “In order to intimate him on first hand that I was returning my governorship nomination and expression forms at the party secretariat.”
The governor was accompanied by members of the State Executive Council, members of the national and state assemblies, and top party stakeholders.
Receiving the governor and his team, Comrade Adams Oshiomole said, “I have no issue with you your Excellency, my concern is winning the impending election especially the presidential. We want to win more states and more legislators. I have faith in you.”
