US Consulate Seeks Increase In Number Of Nigeria Students In America — Leadership Newspaper

United States Embassy in Nigeria in an effort to increase the number of Nigerian students studying in America has encouraged Nigerian students’ to enroll in the U.S. higher education institutions programme.

The Public Affairs Officer, US Consulate, Lagos, Mr. Russell Brook made the charge in Lagos at the 19th EducationUSA Nigeria College Fair, saying that EducationUSA is the official source for information on U.S. higher education.

He said, ‘’It promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited post-secondary institutions in the United States.’’

According to him, the objective is to encourage international students to study in the United States, adding that over one million international students choose to study in the U.S. every year.
