FG Joins Niger Basin Council On Wellbeing Of Inhabitants — Leadership Newspaper

In a bid to ensure healthy and conducive environment for the people in the Niger Basin, the federal government, through the Ministry of Water Resources and in conjunction with the Niger Basin Authority (NBA) Council of ministers, has reviewed the agenda and work plan for the inhabitants of the basin ahead of the year 2019. In a communique adopted and signed by the Council of Ministers, a product of collection of nine African countries saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that the 130 million inhabitants are thoroughly looked after for good well-being, reflected the agreement made on the financial aspect of the commission which is expected to have positive impact on the people of the Niger Basin.
