NNPC Promises Steady Petrol Supply — Leadership Newspaper

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said it has put mechanisms in place to ensure steady supply and distribution of petroleum products as the year gradually drawing to end.
The move is to avert the usual scarcity that occur during festive periods in the country. The corporation also said it has in stock 37 days fuel sufficiency currently aside from strategies that have been put in place to ensure that Nigerians experience a hitch-free festive period Meanwhile, the corporation has warned that as the dry season draws near in the country, petroleum products consumers across the nation should be guided against mishandling of the product.

NNPC’s group general manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, in a release yesterday in Abuja, stated that experience had shown that commuters stock petroleum products at home or move about with them in their vehicles’ boot at this period of the year, exposing themselves and others to serious danger.
