Determined to empower the disadvantaged Nigerian children some of who lost their legs or hands or are just limb in one form or the other in the society, Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a member of Standard Bank Group, has, Saturday, staged a walk in Abuja to create an awareness on the need to help people with such condition in our society live fuller lives.
The 8-kilometre charity walk tagged “Together4ALimb” which began at the bank’s Abuja head office in Area 11, and took the team through some major streets within the metropolis was designed to help raise public awareness about the plight of children with limb challenges in the society and efforts Stanbic IBTC as an organisation has made so far in furtherance of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to better their lot and also draw public help to the plight of these group of people.
