Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi on Friday drummed support for the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general election in the state, Chief Abdul Waheed Adebayo Adelabu, saying he had been divinely chosen to govern the state from May 2019.
The governor who openly declares that Adelabu will be the next governor of Oyo State come 2019, God had chosen a successor for the state.
Speaking during the flag-off campaign of the APC at the party secretarial in Oke Ado area of Ibadan, Ajimobi said “the choice of Bayo Adelabu is a divine intervention from God because we have a lot of big men in the race before we held our primary but we thank God that chooses for us.
“We have big men with great profiles, we had doctors, qualified Engineers, we have some with first degree and some with many degrees but when the primary came God took control of things and we settle for Bayo Adelabu.
