State-run South African airline SA Express, says it will soon resume flight operations seven months after its aircraft were grounded by the civil aviation authority.

The airline said on Friday in Johannesburg that it would re-launch its flights from Cape Town to Bloemfontein at a date to be disclosed.

It added that it hoped to break even by the end of the financial year.

The airline’s aircraft, grounded by the civil aviation authority in May, due to safety concerns, has seen several executives suspended over graft allegations.
