Senator-elect for Kaduna Central, Mallam Uba Sani, has assured his constituents that they will never suffer poor representation in the National Assembly again.
In last Saturday’s National Assembly election, Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated the incumbent Senator Shehu Sani of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
At a post-victory news conference yesterday in Kaduna, Uba Sani said that the people of the zone want responsible and responsive representation, and promised not let them down.
Uba Sani, who is the political adviser to Governor Nasir el-Rufai, said that he would be senator for all the people irrespective of their political differences.
He therefore called on the residents to support him to attract federal presence and investment to the zone.
The lawmaker-elect described the overwhelming mandate given to him as a big challenge and commended his constituents for coming out en mass to vote for APC.
