Many occupants of a two-storey building which collapsed on Friday at Sogoye, along Bode area of the ancient city have been trapped in the rubbles.
As of the time of filling this report rescue operations have commenced at the scene of the building collapse as trapped victims cry for help.
Although the number of trapped victims could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, our correspondent learned that a lot of people live in the house.
It would be recalled that a three-storey building also collapsed at Ita Faji area of Lagos Island on Wednesday killing 20 pupils and an adult.
