The re-elected governor of Akwa Ibom state, Elder Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, has inspected the ongoing construction of 21-storey ‘Intelligent Building’, meant to accommodate International Oil Companies (IOCs) and other multinational corporations operating in the state.
The landmark edifice is located at the Central Business District, Uyo. It is handled by VKS Engineering Company and will be due for commissioning by the end of the year. It is one of several flagship projects of his administration and part of his strategic repositioning of the state as a hub for global trade.
Governor Udom while speaking, expressing satisfaction with the level of work done within the stipulated time frame by the contractor and commended the supervising ministry for making sure the project meets specification.
