The Oyo State governor-elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde has said all the residents of the state would benefit from his administration including the people who did not vote for him in the last gubernatorial election in the state.
Speaking with newsmen on Sunday after a thanksgiving service at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, Ibadan, Oyo State, he said his administration will rely of the wisdom of God.
He said,’’ Everybody will benefit from the new government irrespective of the religious or political affiliations.
“I thank God because my victory was by the mercy of God, although people use to say that nobody can come to government without sacrificing something, electioneering is over and we need to deliver to the people who has giving us their mandates”.
He urged the people to cast away the spirit of partisanship and cooperate with the new administration for the development of Oyo State.
