Stakeholders in the Energy sector in Nigeria on Wednesday urged the federal government to do more in terms of policies to change to renewable energy to reduce environmental pollution and global warming.
They also want the country to lip-frog the developed countries of the world by focusing on using energies that are environmental friendly instead of still relying on fossil fuel which is injurious to the environment and humans.
The experts made the call at the opening session of a three days National Stakeholders Training and Awareness Workshop on Renewable Energy Technologies and Environmental Sustainability organised by the National Centre for Energy and Environment (NCEE)
