Many Lagosians are excited by the Captain’s Day celebration of the Ikeja Golf Club which continued yesterday in the state with professionals and veterans hitting the golf course.
The residents who spoke to our correspondent at separate interviews said the programme that had over sixteen professionals and over 30 veterans showcasing their skills on the golf course reversed the dull moments in the metropolis.
‘’After the elections things are yet to really pick in Lagos but with this captain’s day golf course programme of Ikeja Golf Club we are happy and excited to always come here and watch,’’ said Mrs. Hellen Adebayo.
Among the professionals present were Kola Jacobson, Olu Obadina and Saliu Liman. The club captain, Bola Temowo, took part in the veterans’ category. The competition continues tomorrow, with the Ladies’ competition.
