Sonia Nwankwo is an entertainer whose talent is not in doubt. She has starred in several movies since 2011 when she became a member of the Actors ‘ Guild of Nigeria AGN. Sonia has also registered her name in the dynamic waters of singing. In this interview with SAMUEL ABULUDE, she speaks on her career rise, challenges and other issues.
How long have you been acting and singing?
I have been in the movie industry since 2011, after I registered as an AGN (Actors Guild of Nigeria) member. I have acted in movies like ‘Cry of the motherless’ , ‘Joy of my Destiny’, ‘My mother’s Wish’, ‘Against my Blood’, ‘Mary the Hunter’, ‘Sorrows and Tears’ , ‘King of the Vultures’, ‘Blind Mother’ and so many others. As regards the song I released, they include ‘Suspender and Obimo’ in 2018, the latter being November 2018. I inherited my singing ability from my mum and my acting ability from both my parents in a way.
