The president of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod has said Nigeria is ready to host the 2019 Africa Nations Beach Volleyball Championship.
The Africa Nations Beach Volleyball Senior Championship is scheduled to hold from April 21 to 28, 2019 at Jabi Lake Park, Abuja, Nigeria.
Nimrod, who spoke to newsmen in Lagos, said Nigeria accepted to host the competition due to it consistency in beach volleyball in the continent.
“I want to tell the world that all is set for Nigeria to host the Africa Nations Beach Volleyball Cup Seniors for both men and women.
“It is also my joy to see Nigeria host an Africa championship because Nigeria has been consistent in the beach volleyball for over a decade,” he said.
He said the federation is working around the clock in order to ensure the championship is a success.
