38 Countries Set To Attend Digital Rights Conference In Lagos — Leadership Newspaper

The Pan-African digital rights group, Paradigm Initiative is set to host over 300 delegates drawn from 38 countries at the Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum 2019.

Participants at the forum are expected to deliberate on developments in the digital space in Africa between 23rd to 25th April, 2019 at Raddison Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos State.

The group said the forum is coming at a time the internet is under persistent attacks across the continent, adding that it is important to leverage on #DRIF19 to draw attention to the issues confronting digital rights and inclusion on the continent.

The Paradigm Initiative’s communications officer, Sodiq Alabi in a press statement expressed delight in the conference saying; “We are excited that delegates from almost 40 countries from Africa and beyond the continent will converge in Lagos.”
