FIBA World Cup: D’Tigers To Test Canada, Dominican Republic For Might

In its bid to adequately prepare Nigeria’s male senior basketball team, D’Tigers for the 2019 FIBA Men’s World Cup, Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has lined up top class friendlies against Canada and Dominican Republic.

D’Tiger will take on Dominican plat Santo Domingo July 19th and 25th in a two legged affair before squaring up against Canada in another two-legged encounter at Quebec and Ontario August 5 and 11, 2019 respectively.

According to the Nigerian  team’s programme of events made available to LEADERSHIP Sports, the former African champion will open camp in the United States of America before moving to Canada.

Lagos, Nigeria will be venue of the final phase of preparation with NBBF already in advanced talks with a yet to be named World Cup bound team for a 2-legged friendly.
