Sanwo-Olu Mulls Return Of Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise In Lagos


Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on Friday visited the popular Olusosun dumpsite, saying it was high time Lagosians decided on whether or not to return to observing sanitation exercise once a month as was being done in recent past.

Recalled that Lagosians were observing every last Saturday of the month as sanitation day exercise from between 7am and 10am before it was cancelled by the immediate past government of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, a development, which amongst others made Lagos had serious environmental issue on its hand.

Sanwo-Olu was accompanied to the dumpsite by his deputy, Mr. Babafemi Hamzat; the Head of Service (HoS), among others.
