Movie Production Is My Bread And Butter – Okwilague Shamac


Venturing into the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood for Okwilague Shamac Ibrahim would be regarded as a dream come true.

Before the takeover of the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic, Okwilague Shamac Ibrahim cut his teeth in the Make – believe world with the movie, ‘African Messiah.’

According to the 32-year-old Edo State-born businessman, as a greenhorn, his first experience was a smooth sailing, that he is eager to intensify efforts to produce another blockbuster movie before end of 2020.

He says, “Movie production is my bread and butter. I see life in my characters and settings. When I am on a set, with the right casts, I am at my best frame of mind. One important thing I would like people to know is that, prior to involving the casts, a producer would have spent most of their time deciding on settings, casts, and engaged in drawings that would reflect his/her imagination of the casts, settings etc.
