A non-government organisation, Uromi Like Minds Initiative (ULMI) has donated three sets of motorbike and thirty-five pieces of mobile phones with a one-year subscription to the vigilante group in Uromi to stem the tide of insecurity within an around Esan North-East Local government.

LEADERSHIP report that the NGO last month provided palliatives for some orphanage and elderly people’s homes in Uromi, as well as the Iruele Bone treatment centers to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the less privileged.

Speaking during the presentation, at Uromi, the administrative headquarters of the council in the presence of the Ojuromi of Uromi, HRH Anslem Edenojie II, the council chairman, Hon Austin Okoibhole, as well as the head of the Uromi police division, SP Udeme Albert, the leader of the Vigilante group, Mr. Gabriel Oibor, aka, CJ and some senior officers of other security agencies.
