Vice President Kashim Shettima has explained reasons why the executive arm of government and the 10th National Assembly will continue to have harmonious relationship.
According to him, for the first time in Nigeria’s history, all the elected heads of the branches of government were produced by the hallowed chambers of the National Assembly.
The Vice President spoke on Friday when he declared open a retreat for the leadership of the 10th National Assembly in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
In a statement by his media aide, Stanley Nkwocha, the Vice President also promised to use his position to continue to ensure unbreakable fraternal bond between the executive and the legislature, saying President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to safeguarding Nigeria’s democracy.
