Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me the second time, shame on me. You are told to forgive 77 times 7 times. Nigerians rephrased it to “Forgive and forget”. Forgive but never forget if you dont want to be hurt. If they blind you on one eye and you forget, they’d blind the second eye.
