The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced the discharge of five more Coronavirus patients from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Lagos. In a post shared on his IG page this evening, the governor said a 10-year-old girl is amongst the five patients discharged today.
”My dear Lagosians, greetings.
Yesterday, I announced the discharge of one more patient at our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.Today, I am happy to inform you that five more patients comprising two Males and three Females including a 10 year old girl have tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19 and have been discharged to reunite with their families. This brings to 29 the total number of patients who have fully recovered and discharged from our facility at Yaba.” he wrote
He expressed sadness at the news of the 36-year-old man who died of Coronavirus in a private facility in the state on Saturday April 4th.
