A fuel-laden tanker caught fire today on Otedola bridge, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Fortunately, the fire started from the front of the tanker and didn’t get to the tank carrying fuel.
Footage from the scene shows motorists actively trying to avoid the burning tanker.
Thankfully, no life was lost as the fire service arrived promptly and succeeded in putting out the flames.
Multiple accidents and tanker explosions have occurred on the Otedola Bridge over the years and just days ago, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State Command, Olusegun Ogungbemide, had to reassure commuters that there are no demons, witches or wizards at the Otedola Bridge.
