Abakaliki shutdown as residents obey IPOB-sit-at-home order

Abakaliki, the capital city of Ebonyi State, is currently on lockdown as residents of the state complied with the sit-at-home directive of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB.

 

The group last week gave the directive to protest the continuous detention of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu. See more photos of the city currently deserted below
