A Magistrate Court in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State has sentenced a 24-year-old man, Tashiu Aminu Lulu, to 5 years imprisonment for raping a teenage girl after ‘’hypnotizing” her with a charm.
Magistrate Abubakar Ahmed Boro convicted Lulu of criminal charm, force and gross indecency on an 18-year-old girl.
The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kwara State command, Ayeni Olasunkanmi, in a statement on Friday, September 22, said that the convict was arrested on the 20th September 2023 at about 16:25 hrs in Woro Community, Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.
He was arrested based on a complaint from the victim (name withheld), who accused the suspect of criminal charm, assault and gross indecency.
