The Kwara State Police Command has foiled two kidnap attempts and arrested four suspects in connection with the crimes in Ifelodun and Baruten local government areas of the state.
The command made the breakthrough on January 9 and 15, 2025, respectively, when its men successfully tracked and arrested the four suspected kidnappers at different locations in Share, the headquarters of Ifelodun local government area and Ilesha-Baruba in Baruten local government area of the state.
The spokesperson of the State Police Command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, in two separate statements on Thursday, confirmed the arrest of the four suspected kidnappers. She mentioned that the policemen also save the victims of the attempted kidnap of the agony of paying N9m ransom demanded by the suspected kidnappers.
