An emphatic 5 – 0 victory against Saudi Arabia and another 3 -1 victory against Egypt has confirmed 2018 World Cup hosts Russia now have the record for the best-ever start by a host nation in any World Cup tournament.
Russian fans are currently having a time of their lives as their team which was the lowest ranked side coming into the tournament but they have so far proven to be up on their game as the Stanislav Cherchesov led side currently tops their group, giving Russian fans cause to be in full party mode and high spirit as the competition progresses.
After the win against Egypt, the fans took to the streets to celebrate with fans climbing on cars and block streets as law enforcement officials tried to ensure that there was no break in law and order.
