‘Shuri’ The Character Of King T’Challa’s Sister In The Movie Black Panther Gets Her Own Spin Off

Marvel Comics has announced that Shuri,  King T’Challa ‘s Sister in Black Panther is getting her own spin-off series from October this year.

Shuri was one of the major characters of the high grossing movie that stole our attention as the Black Panther Tech Genius sister.

She is not only getting a spin-off series but also her own comic book series.

This spin-off which will begin this October will see the Black Panther lost on a mission to space, and Shuri is looked upon to step up to fill the void left by her big brother in their mythical home nation Wakanda.

The role of “Shuri” was played by British-Guyanese actress Letitia Wright and she earned praise for her portrayal of Shuri in the smash hit film, which critics agree was a groundbreaking moment for “blacks” on the silver screen.
