Femi Kuti Debunks Insinuations That He Attacked Charly Boy On Social Media

Afrobeat legend Femi Kuti has put out a statement to negate reports that he fired at Nigerian musician and activist Charly Boy over the latter’s decision to support his daughter coming out as a lesbian.

In a statement put out by the legendary singer, the said post did not come from him or was it sent out using any his social media platform.

The statement also said all his social media accounts are verified and as such, the said post being linked to him could only be attributed to the “malicious intent on the part of the author.”

It further said that Femi Kuti respects individual freedoms and will never impose his beliefs on others or ridicule them for expressing theirs.
