Family of Late American Singer Prince Sue Doctor Who Prescribed Pain Medications To Him Before His Death

It’s been over two years since the passing of American musician, Prince Rogers Nelson. However, his family is now taking legal action against the doctor who prescribed him the pain medication that ultimately caused the late musician’s death.

The iconic singer’s toxicology report revealed that he died with exceedingly high levels of fentanyl in his body and since the police did not file any criminal charge against anybody, his family decided to file a lawsuit against Dr. Michael Shulenberg for failing to properly treat the singer.

According to the family, Schulenberg last treated Prince on April 20th in 2016, a day before the ‘Purple Rain’ crooner’s fentanyl overdose. Court documents reveal that the family claimed the doctor’s failure played a major role in Prince’s untimely death.
