Amaju Pinnick Re-elected As Nigeria Football Federation President

Amaju Pinnick has won the election to remain as President of the Nigeria Football Federation for another four years.

Mr Pinnick won 34 out of 44 votes to beat Mr Chinedu Okoye of Bimo FC, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, Chairman of Osun State Football Association and ex-super eagles defender, Aminu Maigari. He becomes the first incumbent to be returned elected as president.

Born in 19973, Amaju Pinnick is also the first Vice President of the Confederation of African Football, CAF.

Speaking shortly after the elections, the NFF President said his administration will do all it takes to be financially independent and not depend on the Federal Government for funding.

Also elected as NFF Vice President is Seyi Akinwunmi who got his position, winning 41 out of 44 votes.
