===The Federal Capital Territory Administration, Abuja says it has taken proactive steps to sensitise residents on measures to take to prevent the Ebola disease.
Dr Humphrey Okoroukwu, the Director of Public Health in the territory, said that Abuja would start preventive measures even though there has not been any reported case in the country.
Ebola has claimed 27 lives since it resurfaced in DR Congo, with the World Health Organisation warning that the 2018 outbreak could spread nationally and internationally.
===The Federal High Court sitting in Kano has granted bail to former governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering.
Shekarau together with former external affairs minister, Aminu Wali and one Mansur Ahmad are facing a six-count charge bordering on conspiracy and money laundering to the tune of N950 million.
