Former president Olusegun Obasanjo and his media minders, have been urged to shelve name-calling and verbose explanations in answering the simple question: Where is the power after the 16 billion dollars your government spent on power projects in Nigeria?
The Buhari Media Media Organisation (BMO) gave the advice on Friday, in the wake of the controversy, triggered by President Muhammadu Buhari’s statement about a former president, who usually bragged about spending $16billion on electricity projects, without the nation reaping the fruits.
President Buhari who spoke during a meeting with the Buhari Support Organisation, did not mention anyone’s name, but Nigeria committed the humongous amount on power during the Obasanjo era, and moments after, reactions started pouring in, especially from the Obasanjo camp.
