===President Muhammadu Buhari has enjoined the Super Eagles to win the FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia for the over 180 million Nigerian supporters.
The president, at a farewell reception in honour of the Super Eagles and team officials at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, urged the players to fulfil the passions and desires of Nigerians by winning the tournament.
=====The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has officially tendered his letter of resignation to President Buhari, as required by the constitution, to vie for the governorship seat in Ekiti, his home state.
The president accepted Fayemi’s resignation and wished him best of luck in his political pursuit.
The resignation takes immediate effect.
