ICOSS’ 2018: 200 abstracts submitted to discourse on African image

No fewer than 200 abstracts have been submitted for discourse on African image at the 1st International Conference of Social Sciences –ICOSS’ 2018– being hosted by the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

The theme of 3-day conference is “Imaged or Imagined: Africa and the Contemporary World—Issues in Security, Governance and Sustainable Development.’’

The conference is organised by NOUN’s Faculty of Social Sciences.

In her massage, Dr Ganiyat Adesina-Uthman, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, NOUN, said that the ICOSS’ 2018 theme was timely as it came when the happenings in the continent were in front burner.

She said that the conference attracted delegates from Cameroun, France, Brunei, Darrussalam, USA, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
