Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has ignored calls to accept the presidential election result in good faith and instead opted to ramp up attack on its credibility.
At a press conference in Abuja Wednesday Atiku repeated his earlier critique about the outcome of the poll that gave resounding victory to President Muhammadu Buhari and now added a new term ‘statistical impossibility’.
He was adamant that he was not accepting the People’s Verdict as announced by INEC and that his rejection was not just as a candidate, but as a Nigerian.
He did not repeat he would pursue the legal option to seek redress, but said he would consult with his party and his supporters on the next line of action
