Lagos State House of Assembly has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to caution the Nigerian Customs over reckless termination of lives while chasing rice smugglers.
The House said the government must commiserated with the family of those who lost their live in such occurrences.
Hon. David Setonji, representing Badagry constituency 2 spoke on the issue under matters of urgent public importance during plenary on Monday.
Setonji recalled an unfortunate incident that claimed the life of one Mrs. Patience Oni and injured many others in his area on Tuesday, 20th of this month.
