Late Abubakar Audu’s running mate, James Faleke, has lost his bid to unseat Yahaya Bello as governor of Kogi State.
In a judgment delivered on Monday, at a tribunal presided over by Justice Halima Mohammed, held that Faleke could not be declared governor because he did not participate in the APC primary.
The judge held that Faleke was not nominated by the APC as its substantive candidate in the governorship election.
