raped a 12 -year -old girl in Kaduna.
The man, who is currently cooling
his nerves in the police cell, was
said to have raped the girl (name
withheld) inside her parents’ room
in Ungwan Boro community of
Kaduna metropolis.
He, according to a source who
pleaded anonymity, forcefully
dragged the girl inside the room
“pulled off her clothes and raped
the helpless girl.”
“He went to the girl’s parents’
compound at about 9:00 am where
he met her outside cleaning the
window blinds. Subsequently, he
asked the girl if her father was at
home and she responded by saying
“no” and he also inquired about
her mother and she replied that her
mother was equally not at home.
“And when he discovered that
she was alone in the house, he
proceeded to ask her to come inside
the room claiming that he had a
message for her parents. But the girl
refused all his antics. Nonetheless,
the man suddenly began to drag
the girl into the room, forced her
down and eventually raped her.
The most worrisome thing is that
the man is suspected to be HIV
positive.”
The source continued, “when the
parents returned from work, they
saw the girl crying, and sought to
know why she was crying, the girl
narrated how the man came to the
house and raped her.
“Upon learning about the
unfortunate incidence, the father of
the girl quickly reported the matter
to the police who subsequently
arrested the man,” said the source.
Our correspondent gathered that
the man is now under interrogation
at the Kaduna police command
